Information on Technology  allow for easy and effective communication between students, staff, and parents. Together, at any time,  we can access learning records, on how to help support our child and the school environment. Having a Growth Mindset

This small presentation will help you share ClassDojo with colleagues. Watch the video with students- they'll love the story and identify with Mojo's struggle.

This is a great ice-breaker of identify problems that one may encounter in class. Students and educators should display positive behavior within the frameworks of growth mindset.

RISK-TAKING- Taking initiative, innovating, breaking the mold, and speaking out in sincere attempts to support Walden University collecting, this is an power tools.

Just remember positive stressors can influence the way children view the world. Stay encouraged, be a blessing and stay connected with Walden family.

Consider the whole children education

When considering the whole children often times we failed to engage children's development programs. Perhaps we (some schools) are increased on areas of academics rather than drawing the interest of the children to be success in life. For instance, 21st century Global Marketing for young and older children pathway of learning. As educators, providing high quality questions that engage children growth mindset through adulthood strategies of learning. Which mindset do you have?  After reading the statement and decide whether you mostly agree with it or disagree.

1.You are intelligent if something very basic about you that you can't change very much.
2. You can learn new things, but you can't really change how intelligent you are.
3. No matter how much intelligence you have, you can always change it quite a bit.
4. You can always substantially change how intelligent you are.Question 1 & 2 are fixed-mindset results and question 3 & 4 are a growth mindset. Dweck, C.S (2006).

From my experience working at a local middle school in my hometown (Visalia Ca), I realize how they (The school) was try to intertwined children's intelligence with adult experience. Exposing children to information literacy regarding technology. Allowing the children to “critical thinking” components of problem solving. And most importantly allow them to “communicate and collaborate” with one another. This is a few steps that this district was leaning towards technology in the 21st century. Refer to the book “Mindset by Carols S. Dweck,” focus on whole learning, involving parents, staff, business and community.

What way should children be assessed? I believe in an holistic approach to education, schools environment seem to be focused more on the curriculum rather than engaging learning. In my opinion if you can ask any middle school or high school child their experience of school, more than likely, they're going to like classes that draw their interest. Classes such as PE, arts and crafts, home economic, auto mechanics in other electives application to the “Real world or having a growth mindset changes."

Other may assess children with Gardner Multipiece Intelligences. Using test to see what they learned, what’s there interested and their strengths and weaknesses. In fact, Gardner originally described seven intelligences: linguistic, logical-mathematical, musical, spatial, bodily-kinesthetic (movement), interpersonal (social understanding), and intrapersonal (self-understanding), each associated with a particular brain region. (2013, March 08).

Which bring me to the growing international country of Brazil, share with Antonio Rodriguez experience of Fixed mindset vs.Growth mindset demonstration. The following video is about 37 minutes, or if you wanted the main point, watch the first 12 minutes and to grass the ideal of mindset.

Racism in the world we live in

In the modern world racism can take on several forms. An individual can hold explicit violence towards a person's belief, that may correspond with racism conditions. For an example someone might be hired that was white over a person that was color, perhaps pre-judging or undermining the color person who was not hired.

While social racism can be identified many problems to the world we live in, it can as affects how each individual response to coping:

Exposure, when children are not exposed to racism or having friends that are not racism, will most likely to gravitate to that person belief or understanding.

Early Learning, when parents take the time to teach their children about racism, more than likely their child will have some knowledge that will carry out in adulthood.

Active awareness, in several studies identified, people who are aware of racism tendencies are likely less like to be involvement in racial issues.

The last time that I experienced racism, I was in my hometown where I was born and raised in. There was a little restaurant called Nelson's (that's been close for a while) it was a nightmare for myself. Not going out too much details but I had a transition my thoughts (at the time) to a safer place.

In my opinion people of majority of racial groups may not have control over racism beliefs or doesn't have the power to change society at large racist system. However if we can minimize our own actions and respond accordingly, without prejudging or discriminating one another, I believe the world be a safer place.

Switzerland would be a great example of a safe place to live. Overall Switzerland is made up 16,000 square mile of glacier - carved Alps, lakes and valleys. It is also the wealthiest country that I'm aware of. Also having the lowest unemployment rate and the highest domains products manufacture industry. It's my number one place in the world, I would love to visit with my family. We will explore Switzerland for ourselves.

Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding is recommended rather than giving infants formula. When a mother is breastfeeding they are creating this special bond between the infant and the motherhood. The mother is providing healthy bacteria when breastfeeding. Research has found that breastfeeding can reduce the risk of infants illnesses of becoming sick. (a runny nose, nausea, coughing)

Some of the benefits of breastfeeding:
  • Infant will have a balanced nutrition, special bond with mother
  • Infant will experience fewer illnesses, natural vitamins sourced from mother milk
  • Breastfeeding is the most efficient vaccine
Breast milk is natural and perfect for babies When developing. Something to think about, breast milk contains a perfect mixture of fat and protein in carbohydrate during serving. Protecting the immunity system of diseases that may occur.

Other countries Viewpoint of breastfeeding

Australia: The Association's booklet Breastfeeding: and sleep takes a methodical approach, giving a checklist of possible causes of wakefulness at different ages, as well as some practical suggestion to help a baby sleep. (Australian Breastfeeding Association, 2016).

Dubai: Breastfeeding is normal here. Breastfeeding is celebrated. Breastfeeding is just a matter of fact way of life.(2015, August)

Thailand: Thai mothers in the upcountry sides breastfeed in the open but they are discreet by covering their breast with a towel or cloth so as not to offend the public. Just like in the west, mothers may breastfeed as much as their baby wants provided it is done somewhat discreet.

Personal Birthing Experience

March 24th, 2010 around 6:45 a.m. in the morning our son name Nathanael was born. For many years my wife couldn't picture us having a baby. For whatever reason, her self-esteem of birth and own ego got in the way, but now she thinks the world of little Nathanael today.

Throughout our adventure of give birth, we found a midwife that was going to do the operations and procedures care. However my wife was having problem at the time, so C-Section was our best option  that required a Doctor's authorization not the midwife.

All I can remember during this moment was the nurse was trying to give me oxygen during delivery. However, I was so intrigued that I had a camera in my left hand and a video recorder my right hand, capturing every moment. Simply Amazing. Typically during this time, most people will faint or pass out but I was so fascinated with the procedures that I watched the whole procedure from start to finish, Simply Amazing.

Not actual picture:

I was a intrigued of information that I read regarding C-section around the world. Brazil, C-sections was shocking to discovery. Why? The vast majority of Brazil's mothers prefer C-sections, which have become something of a status symbol. Also, ranking at number two other than China from some researcher finding. Brazil's economy has a different epidemic/viewpoint about births values. In fact, research finding said that C-sections or more costly than having a natural birth in hospitals, and its view as a lucrative motion. (March 08, 2017).

Code of Ethics in Early Child Development

My Son Nathanael @ Hoops Pre-School (0-5)
In early childhood one must consider high standards with integrity in the field of early childhood. Demonstrating awareness in the field and must encounter a standard of high integrity of trust our youth future. Together, we can ensure a trustworthy bond between the child and the family best practices.

A second encounter would be, a good leader should be able to both lead and follow. 2005, January. I believe as educators in this field of early childhood one must encounter self-awareness, integrity and advocating for young children. Building a strong foundation with creativity, collaboration and Capacity building or known as team building with all available resources. Working for a common good to advocated to those who are unfortunately.

Last encounter is to understanding the core values and its conduct in early childhood. As an educator one should be familiar by identifying a variety of dilemmas and social aspects in the field. Seeking knowledge to understanding the history, and its benefit to all families and the community at large.

Inspirational quotes

Erik Erikson
"Children love and want to be loved and they very much prefer the joy of accomplishment to the triumph of hateful failure. Do not mistake a child for his symptom."

"Hope is both the earliest and the most indispensable virtue inherent in the state of being alive. If life is to be sustained hope must remain, even where confidence is wounded, trust impaired."

Personal Childhood Web

In life, I encountered many teachers that inspired me with courage in words, their action and their journey of pursuit of happiness.

Sometimes in life we choose not to listen to her parents, I always find encouraging words. A family of 4, we grew up poor, my mother found a way to provide loving care.

Coach Bob, handicap and disabled, about six one, red hair ( most people thought he was Irish but he was not) he walk with a limp but I didn't see it. He has been a great mentor of life long skills regarding basketball and society issues

Oldest sister's name is Cililhe, she's a teddy bear in the family. With loving caring it support another.

Other sister's name is Ona, the boss in the family. Like a principal delegating, hard knock love, and prove daily lifestyle skills.

My senior year one of my best friend was named Andrew. Imagine you've transferred to a new school and he didn't have any friends. Thank you thank you  and you're truly the best friend

Only came around on my birthdays, came to some of my school function, needed my help when I was 23 years old. On dialysis three days a week, asking me to donate one of my kidneys.  I was a young man, at that moment sharing my thoughts and concerned regarding my life and his. Life is all about opportunities.
